<br />DAS:sh 5/14/86 <br /> <br />MAY 1 9 1986 <br /> <br />10215 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDORSING PROPOSITION 43 ON THE STATEWIDE <br />JUNE, 1986 BALLOT TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR LOCAL PARKS <br />AND RECREATIONAL AREAS DEVELOPMENT, RESTORATION, LAND <br />ACQUISITION AND OTHER RELATED PURPOSES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Proposition 43 will be on the statewide June, 1986 <br /> <br />ballot and will, if approved, provide financing for local parks <br /> <br />and recreational areas development, restoration, land acquisition <br /> <br />and other related purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Proposition 43, if approved, will make available <br /> <br />additional, or augment existing funding for local parks and <br /> <br />recreational areas and add or improve facilities in and near <br /> <br />population centers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Proposition <br /> <br />43, <br /> <br />if approved, <br /> <br />will directly <br /> <br />benefit the City of Redwood City and will help provide for the <br /> <br />safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That Proposition 43, which will be on the statewide June, <br /> <br />1986 ballot, is hereby endorsed by the City Council of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10415 <br />
