ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> [ANDERSON BRULE ARCHITECTS] <br /> <br />This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the 13 day of <br />January, 2003, amending the Agreement dated October 18, 2002 (the "Agreement"), <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of <br />the State of California (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and Anderson Brul6 <br />("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 23, 2002 the City Council approved and authorized <br />execution of the Agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Paragraph 6 of the Agreement-Performance Standard inadvertently <br />included language related to the performance of expert geological services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the Agreement's Scope of Work, Consultant is providing <br />City with expert architectural and engineering services, not geological services. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Paragraph No. 6 - Performance Standards is amended in its entirety to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> PERFORMANCE STANDARDS. In performing services hereunder, <br /> Consultant shall adhere to the standards generally prevailing for the <br /> performance of expert architectural and engineering consulting services <br /> similar to those to be performed by Consultant hereunder. <br /> <br /> 2. All other provisions of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> 3.
