<br />DAS:sh 5/5/86 <br /> <br />circumstances involving the blockage of a ten inch sanitary sewer <br /> <br />main between Windsor Way and Alameda de las Pulgas in the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City demand immediate expenditure of public money to <br /> <br /> <br />safeguard life, health and property. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />enter into such agreements, and/or engage day labor or purchase <br /> <br /> <br />materials or labor in the open market, or otherwise make <br /> <br /> <br />provision to perform all public work necessary to maintain sewer <br /> <br /> <br />services and to repair, replace, bypass and maintain the <br /> <br />aforesaid ten inch sanitary sewer main, and any and all <br /> <br /> <br />appurtenances to said ten inch sanitary sewer main affected <br /> <br /> <br />thereby, all as may be necessary and appropriate in the public <br /> <br />interest, pursuant to the provisions of Section 68 of the Charter <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />3.
