~$A.$4 AND 3~A.~$ OF THE CODE OF THE ClT~ OF SIDEWALK CAFI~ AREA, SIDEWALK CArl= PERMIT REQUIREMENTS, DURATION AND REGULATIONS WITHIN SAID AREA, RESPECTIVELY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The title to Article II to Chapter 33A of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "ARTICLE I1. USE OF DOWNTOWN SIDEWALK CAFe AREA" SECTION 2. Section 33A. 15 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 33A.15. DEFINITIONS: For the purposes of this Article, the term "Downtown Sidewalk Caf~ Area" shall mean the hereinafter specified street sidewalk areas: Both sides of Broadway between the intersections thereof with El Camino Real and Marshall Street; both sides of the following intersecting streets with Broadway, between the specified intersections therewith: Main Street, between the intersections thereof with the Southern Pacific?'CalTrans" (California Department of Transportation) railroad right of way and Marshall Street; Jefferson Avenue between the intersections thereof with the Southern Pacific CaITrans railroad right of way and Marshall Street; Middlefield Road, between the intersections thereof with Winslow and Marshall Street; Hamilton Street, between the intersections thereof with Winslow Street between the intersection thereof with Marshall Street and the southerly approach thereof with the Southern Pacific/CalTrans railroad right of way. A map delineating the above-described Downtown Sidewalk Caf~ Area shall be maintained and made available for public review during regular business hours in the offices of the Department of Community Development. For the purpose of this Article, the term "Sidewalk Cafe" shall mean and refer to a coffee house, tea shop, restaurant or bar which also provides outside seating and serves food on a public sidewalk pursuant to a valid permit."
