<br />DAS:sh 4/18/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 1 8 9 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />APR 2 1 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENTS ON FARM HILL BOULEVARD; REJECTING ALL <br />OTHER BIDS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10177, adopted April <br /> <br />7, 1986, the City Council authorized the City Deparment of Public <br /> <br />Works to call for bids for asphalt pavement repairs for Farm Hill <br /> <br />Boulevard from Eden Bower Lane to Lonesome Pine Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, W.G. Lewis, Inc., San Carlos, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award bid to said W.G. Lewis, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of W.G. Lewis, Inc. in the sum of One Hundred <br /> <br />Twelve Thousand Eight Hundred Eighteen and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($112,818.00) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />April 18, 1986 for asphalt pavement repairs for Farm Hill <br /> <br />Boulevard from Eden Bower Lane to Lonesome Pine Road, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled, "Agreement," by and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and W.G. Lewis, Inc., for the <br /> <br />10189 <br />
