<br />SWC : s h <br />SWC:sh <br />SWC: sh <br />SWC : s h <br /> <br />4/4/86 <br />4/7/86R <br />4/7/86RR <br />4/7/86RRR <br /> <br />City, so that all remaining spaces will be available for permit <br /> <br />parking by the publici and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because controversy may still exist as to whether <br /> <br />such mitigation reduces the impact of the Project on parking to <br /> <br />an acceptable level, this Council desires to approve the Project <br /> <br />and to make findings of overriding considerations; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Arthur Bros., Inc. in the sum of Two Million <br /> <br />Seven Hundred Sixty Thousand One Hundred and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($2,760,100.00) computed in accordance with the bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated March 25, 1986, for the Bradford Street Parking Lot <br /> <br />Construction Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled, "Agreement," by and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Arthur Bros., Inc., for the <br /> <br />performance of said work in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which agreement is presently on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for the full particulars concerning the terms and conditions <br /> <br />thereof. <br /> <br />3. Any informality in the aforementioned bid of Arthur <br /> <br />Bros., Inc. is hereby waived. <br /> <br />2 <br />
