MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> October 28, 2002 <br /> MO. 02-303 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: October 29, 2002 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Engineering Dept. <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract for the 2002 Watermain Replacement Project <br /> <br />Joint Meeting of the Council and GID board of the City of Redwood City on <br />October 28, 2002. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Ruskin, Pierce, Howard, Hartnett, and <br />Mayor Claire <br /> <br />Absent: Vice Mayor Ira and Council Member Jordan <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br />M/S HartnettJRuskin By motion, disqualify and reject the Iow bidder, EPS, for <br />failure to submit the proper bid bonds and to include the acknowledgment of <br />Addendum No. 1 at the bid opening. Award the Contract for the 2002 <br />Watermain Replacement Project to the second lowest responsible bidder, Shaw <br />Pipeline, Inc. of San Francisco, California, for their Iow bid of $1,444,839.00 <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by all those present. <br /> <br />Patricia S.
