<br />nl\S:djc 2/6/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10140 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FEB 1 0 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE (3) AIR <br />COMPRESSORS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10111, adopted January <br /> <br />6, 1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of three <br /> <br />(3) air compressors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Edward R. Bacon Co., San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Edward R. Bacon Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Edward R. Bacon Co., in the sum of <br /> <br />Thirty-four Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-eight and 04/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($34,228.04), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />February 3, 1986, for the sale of three (3) air compressors is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance wi th the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />1.0140 <br />
