<br />f'\Z\S:djc 2/6/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 1 0 13 9 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FEB 1 0 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF SIX (6) TWO AND <br />ONE HALF TON CAB AND CHASSIS TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10111, adopted January <br />6, 1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of six <br /> <br />(6) two and one half cab and chassis trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to South Bay Ford Truck <br /> <br />Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales, in the sum of <br /> <br />One Hundred and Sixty-eight Thousand Two Hundred Ten and 36/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($168,210.36), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated January 13, 1986, for the sale of six (6) two and <br /> <br />one half ton cab and chassis trucks is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for <br /> <br />said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />101.39 <br />
