<br />'"'Z\S:djc 2/6/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 1 0 13 7 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FEB 1 0 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br />CONTROLLERS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10092, adopted December <br /> <br />16, 1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of <br /> <br />traffic signal controllers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Multisonics Inc., Dublin, California, is the sole <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to Mu1tisonics Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mul tisonics Inc., in the sum of Fifty-six <br /> <br />Thousand Six Hundred Fifteen and No/100 Dollars ($56,615.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated January 27, <br /> <br />1986, for the sale of traffic signal controllers is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />sole responsible bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance wi th the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />10137 <br />
