<br />DAS:sh 1/23/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 12 6 <br /> <br />JAN 2 7 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE BRADFORD STREET PARKING <br />LOT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10091, adopted December <br /> <br />16, 1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the Bradford Street <br /> <br />Parking Lot Construction Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anza Engineering Corp., Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said Anza Engineering <br /> <br />Corp. ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Anza Engineering Corp. in the sum of <br /> <br />Fifty-five Thousand Six Hundred Forty-one and 50/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($55,641.50) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />January <br /> <br />21, <br /> <br />1986, <br /> <br />for the Bradford Street Parking Lot <br /> <br />Construction Project, lS hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled, "Agreement," by and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Anza Engineering Corp., for the <br /> <br />performance of said work in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />I 012 6 <br />
