8/31/98 <br /> <br /> (07/20/98) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13448 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Youth Employment Program <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Youth Employment Program is a private, non-profit organization that provides job <br />preparation training, counseling, and placement services for youths, which services are in furtherance of <br />the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Youth Employment Program, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998 and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Youth Employment Program to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public <br />purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/20/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and Youth <br />Employment Program a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
