8/31/98 <br /> <br /> (07/20/98) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13445 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Mental Health Association of San Mateo County <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County is a private, non-profit organization <br />that provides services that may include housing, social programs, food, and networking that will contribute <br />to mentally disabled individuals' stability in community, which services are in furtherance of the public <br />health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mental Health Association of San Matao County, has requested financial assistance <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998 and ending June <br />30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Mental Health Association of San Mateo County to provide financial assistance in <br /> <br />furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/20/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> Mental Health Association of San Mateo County a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the <br /> City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
