- 8/31/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> (07/20/98) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13444 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Healthy Start Family Center <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Healthy Start Family Center is a private, non-profit organization that provides Iow- <br />income or "at-risk" families with support services and encouraging the full use of existing agencies <br />preventing duplication of services , which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and <br />benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Healthy Start Family Center, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998 and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Healthy Start Family Center to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public <br />purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/20/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> Healthy Start Family Center a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br /> <br />
