8/31/98 <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L (07/20/98) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13434 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Sor Juana Ines <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sot Juana Ines is a private, non-profit organization that provides individual counseling <br />assistance for women and their children, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare <br />and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sor Juana Ines, has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998 and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br /> <br />agreement with Sor Juana Ines to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/20/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and Sor <br />Juana Ines a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
