SWC:sh 12/13/85 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 100~6 GRIGl NAL RESOLUTION APPROVING TIME EXTENSION TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF REGARDING THE EL CAMINO REAL/CHARTER SIGNAL PROJECT AGREEMENT WITH TRANSPORTATION STREET TRAFFIC DEe 1 6 1985 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9521, adopted February 13, 1984, the City Council approved and authorized execution of an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the California Department of Transportation for cooperation in the installation and instruction of a traffic control system, safety lighting and channelization at the intersection of Charter Street and El Camino Real (State Highway 82); and WHEREAS, pursuant to said authorization, the City entered into the aforesaid agreement No. 4-0902-C; and WHEREAS, the term of the aforesaid agreement expires on December 31, 1985, although the Project has not yet been constructed, and is currently estimated for bid in March, 1986; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize extension of the term of said agreement so as to enable the City to complete said construction project; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: This Council hereby authorizes extending the term of the cooperative agreement between the City of Redwood City and the California Department of Transportation, No. 4-0902-C, to December 31, 1986, and hereby directs appropriate City personnel to execute any further documents necessary to effect such extension. * * * ~'~0096
