0 R I G I N A L 8/31/98 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 13418 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REDWOOD OAKS <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD SIGNING AND STRIPING INSTALLATION <br /> PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> <br />the Redwood Oaks Neighborhood Signing and Striping Installation Project in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Weatherly Striping Company of San Carlos, California, was <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Weatherly Striping Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Weatherly Striping Company, in the total amount of <br />Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($15,500.00), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated May 26, 1998, is hereby accepted <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />08/19/98), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br />the State of California and Weatherly Striping Company, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />Reso-482 <br />G:~shared~Redwood\C0uncil\Reso <br />DES:djk <br />08/19/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
