<br />DCB:sh 11/14/85 <br /> <br />NOV 1 8 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10077 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) STREET <br />SWEEPER; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10031, adopted October <br /> <br />14, 1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of one <br />(1) street sweeper; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ricker Machinery Co., Oakland, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Ricker Machinery Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ricker Machinery, Co., in the sum of Eighty <br /> <br />Five Thousand Two Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($85,200.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated October 28, <br /> <br />1985, for the sale of one (1) street sweeper is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />n",.
