0 R I G I N A L 8/31/98 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13416 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 1998-1999 TRAFFIC <br /> SIGNAL LOOP PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the1998-1999 Traffic Signal Loop Project in the City of Redwood City, California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the Department of Public Works <br />Services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, St. Francis Electric of Hayward, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to St. Francis Electric; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of St. Francis Electric, in the total amount of Nineteen <br />Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-five and Noll00 Dollars ($19,325.00), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated June 11, 1998 for the <br />1998-1999 Traffic Signal Loop Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
