NOV 1 8 1985 10070 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR ISSUANCE OF BONDS SEAPORT BOULEVARD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT $1,608,l93.65 SERIES B RESOLVED, by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Redwood City (the "City"), in the County of San Mateo, California, that WHEREAS, the Council has provided in proceedings conducted under and pursuant to its Resolution of Intention No. 9795, adopted February 4, 1985, as modified, that serial bonds will be issued to represent the unpaid assessments pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, Division 10 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Cal ifornia (the Act"); WHEREAS, the Council, by its Resolution No. 9885, adopted on May 20, 1985, determined that the unpaid assessments in said proceedings amounted to $6,212,186.64 in total principal amount and provided therein for the issuance of $4,603,992.99 Series A Improvement Bonds, which bonds were subsequently delivered to the purchaser thereof, and further provided therein that the Council reserved the authority to issue one or more additional series of Bonds to provide financing to complete the project, said additional Bonds not to exceed in principal amount the total amount of said unpaid assessments, less the amount of all Bonds theretofore authorized and issued; NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL HEREBY DETERMINES AND ORDERS, as follows: Section 1. Applicability of Resolution No. 9885. Except as herein otherwise expressly provided, the provisions of Resolution No. 9885 entitled "A Resolution Determining Unpaid Assessments and Providing for Issuance of Bonds, Seaport Boulevard Assessment District, $4,603,992.99 Series A", adopted by the Council on May 20, 1985, are incorporated herein and made a part hereof by reference. Section 2. Issuance of Series B Bonds. An additional series of Bonds aggregating $1,608,193.65 in principal amount shall be issued upon the security of all of said unpaid assessments in accordance with the provisions of the Act and under and pursuant to the provisions of said Resolution of Intention, as modified, and the proceedings thereunder duly had and taken. The Bonds authorized herein (the "Series B Bonds" and singularly the "Series B Bond") shall be issued in fully registered form, without coupons, shall be known as "Improvement Bonds, City of Redwood City, Seaport Boulevard Assessment District, 10070
