0 1~ I C Z I~ A l~ 8/31/98 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13415 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE BROADWAY <br /> STREET LIGHT CIRCUIT REPAIR PROJECT; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the Broadway Street Light Circuit Repair Project in the City of Redwood City, <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the Department of Public Works <br />Services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Republic Electric of Novato, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Republic Electric; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Republic Electric, in the total amount of Ten Thousand Five <br />Hundred Eighty-four and No/100 Dollars ($10,584.00), computed in accordance <br />with bidder's proposal dated June 30,1998 for the Broadway Street Light Circuit <br />Repair Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
