- -- 8/18/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13408 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR UTILITY TRENCH <br /> PAVING ON GLENCRAG WAY, WOODSIDE, CALIFORNIA; <br /> AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />utility trench paving on Glencrag Way in Woodside, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the Department of Public Works <br />Services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bay Area Paving of San Mateo, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Bay Area Paving; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Bay Area Paving, in the total amount of Eighteen Thousand <br />Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($18,500.00), computed in accordance with <br />bidder's proposal dated July 23, 1998 and Addendum pertaining thereto dated <br />July 28, 1998, for Trench Paving on Glencrag Way in Woodside, California, are <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />DES:djk <br /> <br /> <br />
