-- '~ 8/18/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13403 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REPLACEMENT <br /> AND/OR REPAIR OF PUMPS FOR THE VARIOUS PUMP <br /> STATIONS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published for <br />the replacement and/or repair of pumps for the various pumps stations in the City <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publications one bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS, Pump Repair Service Company of Daly City, California, for <br />pump replacement and/or repair, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of Pump Repair Service <br />Company; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Pump Repair Service Company, in the total amount of Two <br />Hundred Sixty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-five and No/100 Dollars <br />($261,925.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated <br />August 4, 1998, for the replacement and/or repair of storm and sanitary sewer <br />pumps, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and said bidder <br /> <br />Reso-473 <br />DES:djk <br />G:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />08/10/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
