Pursuant to the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, the City gave its consent to <br />extend the term of the Amended Development Agreement for two consecutive sixty (60) <br />day periods. <br /> <br /> e. The term of the Amended Development Agreement commenced on the <br />effective date of the ordinance approving it (which was June 23, 1982) and continued <br />for a period of fifteen (15) Years to June 23, 1997 (the "Termination Date"); and by said <br />Third Amendment said Termination Date was extended and continued for a period of <br />five (5) years to June 23, 2002; and by said Fourth Amendment, said Termination Date <br />was extended and continued for a period of sixty (60) days to August 23, 2002; and by <br />said Fifth Amendment, said Termination Date was extended and continued for a period <br />of sixty (60) days to October 22, 2002. The City and RSP desire to extend the term of <br />the Amended Development Agreement to June 23, 2003. <br /> <br /> f. Pursuant to Government Code sections 65864-65869.5, a public hearing <br /> <br /> was held by the planning agency and the legislative body of the City, after duly noticed <br /> public hearings, regarding extension of the development agreement. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and <br /> sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> I. Extension of Term.
