- 8/18/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RMSOLUTION NO. 13397 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT TO <br /> PURCHASE ONE (1) PARAGON MAIL CENTER 2000 <br /> POSTAGE MACHINE AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Redwood City Code Section 2.80 and <br />Public Contracts Code Section 10324, this Council does hereby authorize and <br />request the Federal Government's Office of Procurement to purchase under <br />GSA Contract No. G$25F5138C, on behalf of the City of Redwood City, certain <br />materials, supplies and equipment, to wit: one (1) Paragon Mail Center 2000 <br />Postage Machine from Pitney Bowes conforming to specifications provided by <br />the City Manager's office of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 2.
