- 7/27/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13388 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> FURNISHINGS FOR THE SANDPIPER COMMUNITY CENTER; <br /> AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of furnishing for the Sandpiper Community Center in the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Space Designs, Inc. of Mountain View, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Space Designs, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Space Designs, Inc., in the total amount of Sixty-three <br />Thousand Six Hundred Forty-seven and 03/100 Dollars ($63,647.03), computed <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 24, 1998 for the sale of <br />furnishings, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference <br />is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br />sale of said furnishings to the City. <br /> <br />Reso-447 1 <br />DES:djk <br />G:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Cou ncil <br />07109198 <br /> <br /> <br />
