<br />SWC:djc 10/25/85 <br />SWC:djc 10/25/85R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />lOU~O <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 2 8 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ELEVEN PICKUP TRUCKS; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10000, adopted September <br /> <br />16, 1985, the City Clerk called for bids for eleven pickup <br /> <br />trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Burlingame Ford, Burlingame, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Burlingame Ford; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Burlingame Ford in the sum of One Hundred <br /> <br />Thirty-eight Thousand Six Hundred Three and 61/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($138,603.61), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal for <br /> <br />the sale of eleven pickup trucks is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for <br /> <br />said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />10050 <br />
