<br />DCB:sh 10/25/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. lOJl.4 5 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 2 8 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT <br /> <br />SEAPORT BOULEVARD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk of this City did in open session on <br /> <br />the 22nd day of October, 1985, publicly open, examine and declare <br /> <br />all sealed proposals or bids for the construction of certain <br /> <br />improvements <br /> <br />together with <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />appurtenances <br /> <br />thereto, <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />described and specified in Resolution of Intention No. 10020 to <br /> <br />Make Changes and Modifications, adopted by this Council on <br /> <br />September 23, 1985, and in strict accordance with those plans and <br /> <br />specifications entitled "Plans and Specifications for the Seaport <br /> <br />Boulevard Landscape Project" prepared by Roberts Associates, <br /> <br />dated August 26, 1985, to which plans and specifications and <br /> <br />resolution reference is hereby made for a description of the work <br /> <br />and improvements to be done and the materials, supplies and <br /> <br />equipment to be furnished therefor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said bids were referred to and considered by this <br /> <br />Council at its meeting on October 28, 1985; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That this Council hereby rejects all of said proposals <br /> <br />or bids, except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the <br /> <br />contract for doing the work and improvements and furnishing the <br /> <br />supplies, materials and equipment necessary therefor, to the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder, to wit: MUNKDALE BROTHERS, INC., <br /> <br />Burlingame, California in the sum of Seven Hundred Nineteen <br /> <br />10045 <br />
