<br />DCB:sh 10/18/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0040 <br /> <br />ORIGiNAL <br />OCT 2 1 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH DESIGN ENGINEERING SYSTEMS, INC. FOR <br />ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR FIRE STATION NO. 1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9547, dated April 2, <br /> <br />1984, the City authorized execution of contract to engage Design <br /> <br />Engineering Systems, Inc., Redwood City, California to perform <br /> <br />specified architectural and engineering services for the design <br /> <br />and construction of a new fire station facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to update the <br /> <br />scope of services to be performed by Design Engineering Systems, <br /> <br />Inc.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Design Engineering Systems, Inc. and the City <br /> <br />desire to execute a new Agreement and terminate the Agreement <br /> <br />executed pursuant to Resolution No. 9547, executed on June 30, <br /> <br />1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new agreement has been presented to this Council <br /> <br />for its approval for Design Engineering Systems, Inc. to provide <br /> <br />the above referenced updated services to the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Design Engineering Systems, Inc. entitled "Agreement For <br /> <br />Archi tectural Services For Fire Station Facility" (form dated <br /> <br />lO/l8/85R), attached hereto, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />10040 <br />
