<br />Dr'Q:sh 9/24/85 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 003 6 <br /> <br />OCT 1 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THREE BASEBALL BACKSTOPS AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.65 of Redwood City Code, the <br /> <br />City Manager called for bids for the purchase and installation of <br /> <br />three (3) baseball backstops at Kennedy School; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Outdoor Products Company, San Jose, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award bid to said Outdoor Products Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Outdoor Products Company in the sum of Twelve <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Four <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Seventy-Nine <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($12,479.00) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />August 14, 1985, for the purchase and installation of three (3) <br /> <br />baseball backstops, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said equipment and <br /> <br />all other bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3.
