Ull',. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0034 <br /> <br />OCT 1 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF A FORK <br />LIFT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.65, the <br /> <br />City Manager has solicited bids for the purchase of a 6,000 pound <br /> <br />capacity fork lift; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Perin Company, Burlingame, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Perin Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Perin Company in the total lump sum amount <br /> <br />of Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred Seventeen and 38/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($15,817.38), for the purchase of a fork lift, in accordance with <br /> <br />the bidder's proposal dated October 4, 1985 which proposal is <br /> <br />incorporated herein by reference, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said 6,000 pound capacity fork lift. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City, with <br /> <br />Perin Company, for the purchase of a fork lift in accordance <br /> <br />with, and subject to, the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10034 <br />
