<br />DCB:sh 9/12/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 999 ~ <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 1 6 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF TWO <br />REPLACEMENT ROTARY LAWN MOWERS; AND AUTHORI ZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.65, the <br /> <br />Ci ty Manager has solicited bids for the purchase of two (2) <br /> <br />rotary mowers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, West Star Distributing, Inc., Hayward, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />repairs, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to West Star Distributing, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of West Star Distributing, Inc. in the total <br /> <br />lump sum amount of Fifteen Thousand One Hundred Twenty Seven and <br /> <br />70/100 Dollars ($15,127.70), for the replacement of two (2) <br /> <br />rotary mowers, in accordance with the bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />September 8, 1985 which proposal is incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said rotary mowers. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City, with <br /> <br />West Star Distributing, Inc., for the purchase of two (2) rotary <br /> <br />mowers in accordance with, and subject to, the aforementioned <br /> <br />bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9999 <br />
