<br />DrTl:djc 8/22/85 <br /> <br />AUG 2 6 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9994 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR AN ON-CALL SEWER SERVICE PICKUP <br />TRUCK AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.65 of Redwood City Code, the <br /> <br />City Manager called for bids for the purchase of an on-call sewer <br /> <br />service pickup truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Burlingame Ford, Burlingame, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award bid to said Burlingame Ford; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Burlingame Ford in the sum of Thirteen <br /> <br />Thousand Nine Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($13,900.00), computed <br /> <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated August 13, 1985, for <br /> <br />an on-call sewer service pickup truck, is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder <br /> <br />for said equipment and all other bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />All informalities <br /> <br />in the aforementioned bid of <br /> <br />Burlingame Ford are hereby waived. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9994 <br />
