<br />SWC:sh 8/21/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9989 <br /> <br />AUG 26 <br />1985 <br /> <br />O;~/GI.~; . <br />. dflit <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE <br />AGREEMENT FOR XEROX EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has waived the procedure for the <br /> <br />solici tation of bids, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty Code, for the lease of upgraded copy equipment, upon the <br /> <br />finding that the Xerox Model 1090 is the only machine which meets <br /> <br />the requirements of the City, and is an upgrade of the copy <br /> <br />equipment which the City is currently leasing, and the City can <br /> <br />make use of existing stock of Xerox supplies on hand; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />agreement for the lease of a Xerox Model 1090 copier, and it is <br /> <br />the intent of this Council to approve said lease agreement and to <br /> <br />authorize execution thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain lease agreement by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Xerox Corporation, for a sixty (60) month lease <br /> <br />of a Xerox Model 1090 copier at a monthly price of One Thousand <br /> <br />Eight Hundred Fifty-Nine and 42/100 Dollars ($1,859.42), with a <br /> <br />purchase option, a copy of which lease is on file in the office <br /> <br />of the Director of General Services, and to which copy reference <br /> <br />lS hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved; <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the <br /> <br />aforesaid lease agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />~\\ <br /> <br />....,i 0 <br />{~ " , <br />
