<br />DC'"Q:djc 8/22/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />99R4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR HANDICAP RAMP PROGRAM, 1984-85 <br />AND 1985-86; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9889, adopted June 3, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for Handicap Ramp Program <br /> <br />1984-85 and 1985-86; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, G. Bortoloto Company and Golden Bay Construction, <br /> <br />Inc. J.V., San Mateo, California, is the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to G. <br /> <br />Bortoloto Company and Golden Bay <br /> <br />Construction, Inc. J.V.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of G. Bortoloto Company and Golden Bay <br /> <br />Construction, Inc. J.V. in the sum of Fifty One Thousand Eight <br /> <br />Hundred Eighty-two and 35/100 Dollars ($51,882.35), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated August 20, 1985, for <br /> <br />Handicap Ramp Program 1984-85 and 1985-86, is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder <br /> <br />for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />9984 <br />
