<br />DC'"R:djc 8/22/85 <br /> <br />AUG 2 6 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9983 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SHOREBIRD <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9943 adopted July 22, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br /> <br />Shorebird Neighborhood Park located between Marine World Parkway, <br /> <br />Shorebird Island and Island Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />construction of said neighborhood park and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were received which deviated significantly <br /> <br />from projected cost estimates and as a result, it is the desire <br /> <br />of this Council to reject all bids; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. All bids computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 9943, adopted July 22, 1985 for the <br /> <br />construction of Shorebird Neighborhood Park are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />return to all bidders all security guaranteeing execution of <br /> <br />contract upon award. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9983 <br />
