Redwood City's PAL ("Police Activities League") for the aforesaid fiscal year <br />under the PAL Improve Through ADVANCE Program, pursuant to the terms and <br />conditions of the OCJP and that said match will be appropriated as required. <br /> <br /> 3. This Council hereby further agrees that any liability arising out of the <br />performance of this grant award, including civil court actions for damages, shall <br />be the responsibility of the City of Redwood City. The State of California and the <br />OCJP disclaim responsibility for any such liability. <br /> <br /> 4. This Council does hereby certify, in accordance with pertinent rules <br />and regulations of the PAL Improve Through ADVANCE Program, that grant <br />funds received pursuant to the grant hereinabove approved shall not be used to <br />supplant law enforcement expenditures otherwise subject to the jurisdiction of <br />this Council. <br /> <br /> 5.
