<br />SWC: s h <br />SWC: sh <br /> <br />8/09/85 <br />8/12/85R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 9 7 4 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 1 2 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR REPAIR OF HEATING, <br />VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has <br /> <br />solici ted bids for the repair of heating, ventilation and air <br /> <br />conditioning equipment at the Municipal Services Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Climate Engineering, Inc., San Carlos, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />repairs, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Climate Engineering, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Climate Engineering, Inc. in the total lump <br /> <br />sum amount of Twelve Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-five and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($12,855.00), plus tax, for the repair of heating, <br /> <br />ventilation and air conditioning equipment, in accordance with <br /> <br />the bidder's proposal dated August 8, 1985 which proposal is <br /> <br />incorporated herein by reference, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said repairs. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City, with <br /> <br />Climate Engineering, Inc., for the repair of heating, ventilation <br /> <br />and air conditioning equipment in accordance with, and subj ect <br /> <br />to, the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9974 <br />
