<br />9956 <br /> <br />JUL 2 2 1985 <br /> <br />B_E_~_Q_~_Q_I_I_Q_N__N_Q~ 9956 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH HERBERT HOOVER BOY'S & GIRL'S CLUB, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Herbert Hoover Boy's & Girl's Club, Inc. has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing a recreational <br /> <br />and educational program for youth in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Herbert Hoover Boy's & Girl's Club has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1985 and ending June 30, 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Herbert Boy's & Girl's Club, Inc. the sum of Five- <br /> <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood and the Herbert Hoover Boy's and <br /> <br />Girl's Club, Inc. and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/27/85), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Herbert Hoover Boy's & Girl's Club, Inc., a <br /> <br />,",' '. t; <br />,3'0 VJ <br />
