-- 6/1/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13351 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR UNDERGROUND TANK <br /> REMOVAL PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13299, adopted March 23, 1998, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Underground Tank Removal Project in <br />the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Centerline Corporation, Inc. of Alamo, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Centerline Corporation, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Centerline Corporation, Inc. in the amount of Fifty-nine <br />Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-seven and 13/100 Dollars ($59,957.13), computed <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated April 21, 1998 for the Underground <br />Tank Removal Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
