5/ls/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13344 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR FUNDING OF <br /> POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE ("PAL") "IMPROVE THROUGH <br /> ADVANCE" PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to undertake a project <br /> designated, "PAL-Improve Through ADVANCE" Program (the "Project") to be <br /> funded and administered in part by the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention <br /> Branch of the Office of Criminal Justice Planning ("OCJP"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to apply to the OCJP for such funds for <br />the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain application to the OCJP for funding of the Project for fiscal <br />year 1998-1999, a copy of which application is on file in the office of the Police <br />Chief, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute said application, the Title V Challenge Grant award, and any and all <br />other documents necessary or appropriate in furtherance of said application, and <br />to submit said application to the OCJP. <br /> <br /> 2.
