0 R I G I N A L 5/4/98 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13332 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (YMCA OF THE MIDPENINSULA, SEQUOIA BRANCH) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the YMCA of the Midpeninsula, Sequoia Branch (Contractor) <br /> conducts a health and wellness program for residents of the City of Redwood <br /> City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> improve facilities for the removal of architectural barriers during the fiscal year <br /> commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifty Thousand and no/lO0 Dollars <br />($50,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, Agreement for Health and Wellness <br />Program Modifications (YMCA of the Midpeninsula, Sequoia Branch) (form <br /> <br /> <br />
