STAFF REPORTS- <br /> <br /> A. Mills Act Contract (Historic Property Preservation Agreement) Amendment <br /> for the property located at 423 Beech Street per Chapter 40 of the Redwood <br /> City Code; <br /> <br /> Principal Planner Jany stated that in summary, this item pertains to preserving <br /> historic property in the historic district, it represents a preservation program for the <br /> property. The contract amendments have been prepared as a response to the <br /> property owners timelines and budget considerations. <br /> <br /> M/S Ruskin/P ,.rce: <br /> By resolution approve the proposed Mills Act contract amendments, as outlined in <br /> the property owners proposal dated August 14~h, 2002 (to be incorporated as <br /> Exhibit "C" of the subject agreement) which was recommended for approval by the <br /> Planning Commission and Historic Resources Advisory Committee (HRAC). <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION 14473 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE A(~REEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AND ALISON CARTVVRIGHT AND JAY SABER (SUCCESSORS IN INTEREST TO <br /> MARK WEIR) FOR HISTORIC PROPERTY PRESERVATION <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present. <br /> <br /> MINUTE ORDER 02-308 <br /> <br /> B. Ordinance Amending the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance to Add Section <br /> 52, Planned Community District or P- District; <br /> <br /> Interim Community Development Director Liedstrand explained that purpose of <br /> the Precise Plan ordinance is to create a tool in order to have a more <br /> individualized set of land use regulations for a particular piece of property if <br /> needed. He further stated that ail Precise Plans would first be considered by the <br /> Planning Commission and then brought to City Council for approval.
