FREEDOM'S ANSWER: NLC YOIJTH PROGRAM
The National League of Cities has joined a long list of national organizaUons supporting a youth
driven effort to produce the "largest tumout in any mid-term election ever."

Freedom's Answer is a non-partisan, non-profit program organized in the nation's high school and
led by students themselves. More than 2,500 high schools in all 50 states are participating in the mas-
sive get-out-the-vote effort with 100 more joining every day.

Along with NLC, the national sponsors include the American Bar Association, AARP, American
Association of School Administrators, American Federation of Teachers, League of Women Voters,
National Association of Counties, National Association of School Boards, National Conference of State
Legislatures, and the National Education Association. Both the Democratic and Republican National
Parties are also sponsors of the campaign.

Major youth groups including the Boys and Gids Clubs of America, Boys Nation, Girls Nation, Junior
ROTC, National Association of Student Councils, National Honor Society, and Youth Partnership Team of
America's Promise are spearheading the effort among high school students.

Every high school in America has been asked to name a student coordinator who will organize
students to seek 10 pledges from voting age relatives, neighbors, and ~ends to vote on November 5 to
honor these who protect America's freedom everyday. The campaign is focusing only on exercising the
right to vote and does not ask anyone to vote for or against any part of candidate.

visit the Freedom's Answer web site at www. FraedomsAnswer.net for more detailed information.

DON?
