A. P.E.R.S. Nedical Premiums <br /> B. Dependent Care <br /> C. Health Care Reimbursement <br /> <br />19.1.~, For the period January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2005, the <br /> City's maximum combined monthly contribution for each eligible <br /> full-time employee for the aforementioned PEPS Health Benefit Plan <br /> and Cafeteria Plan shall not exceed five hundred and thirty five <br /> dollars and seventy five cents ($535.75) minus any costs incurred <br /> by the City to maintain the Cafeteria Plan in compliance with [PS <br /> Code Section 125 and minus any costs incurred by the City to <br /> maintain the PEPS Health Benefits Plan in compliance with <br /> Govemment Code Section 22751, et seq. <br /> <br /> Such costs include, but are not limited to, surcharges and/or <br /> administrative fees. The actual maximum monthly contribution per <br /> active employee, once these charges have been deducted, is <br /> estimated to be five hundred and nine dollars and seventy five <br /> cents ($509.75) for 2001. In the event that the Kaiser Family <br /> premium increases above the $509.75 during the term of this HOU, <br /> the City will increase it's contribution in an amount equal to such <br /> increase. <br /> <br />19.1.5 For employees covered by this MOU, this amount shall be prorated. <br /> (For permanent part-time employees working (20) or more hours <br /> per week covered by this MOU this amount shall be prorated.) <br /> <br />19.1.6 In the event the above listed amount plus the city payment towards <br /> medical insurance premiums, specified in 17.1.2 above, are <br /> insufficient to pay 100% of the premiums required of employees <br /> enrolled in any one of the PEPS medical insurance plans, the City <br /> shall make a payroll deduction from the employee's pay to cover <br /> the difference in cost. <br /> <br />19.1.7 The health plans offered shall be those of the California Public <br /> Employee's Retirement System (PEPS). <br /> <br />19.1.8 For ~FF members employed by the City as of .]anuary 1, 1988, <br /> who have twenty (20) years of service and retire under the City's <br /> retirement plan, the maximum City contribution toward health plan <br /> coverage shall be equal to the percent or premium paid for a <br /> current employee, for the same plan. For L4FF members retired <br /> prior to .]anuary 1, 1988, the City shall pay the cost of health plans <br /> in accordance with the applicable MOU or City practice in effect at <br /> the time of retirement. <br /> <br /> 40 <br /> <br /> <br />
