4. REDWOOD CITY 2020 OPERATIONS COMMITTEE <br /> <br /> The RC 2020 Operations Committee is hereby established and shall be composed <br /> of senior staff from each of the funding partners of RC 2020 - City of Redwood City, San <br /> Mateo County, Redwood City School District and Sequoia Union High School <br /> Dis~ct. <br /> <br />5. REDWOOD CITY 2020 COORDINATING COUNCIl, <br /> <br /> The RC 2020 Coordinating Council is hereby established and shall be composed of one <br /> representative from each of the funding partner's governing Boards (and one alternate <br /> member from each of these boards). <br /> <br />6. STRUCTURE AND STRATEGIES OF REDWOOD CITY 2020 <br /> <br /> The Operations Committee and the Coordinating Council shall follow the structure and <br /> strategies described in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />7. REDWOOD CITY 2020 STAFF <br /> <br /> It is understood that RC 2020 will require the services of an Executive Director and <br /> related support staff. Staffwill provide services for the RC 2020 program. The City of <br /> Redwood City will serve as fiscal agent for the e, mployees and related expenses. <br /> <br /> A. The Operations Committee will designate the City to contract for the Executive <br /> Director, Administrative Secretary and necessary staff on behalf of the <br /> Committee. <br /> <br />8. PARTIES PROVISION OF FUNDING~ FACILITIES~ AND SERVICES <br /> <br /> A. Each of the Parties shall contribute the sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars <br /> ($25,000) within sixty (60) days of the execution of The Agreement to support the <br /> work of the RC 2020 program. The parties acknowledge that they have deposited <br /> said amount for the fiscal year July 1, 2002 - June 30, 2003. <br /> <br /> B. City is authorized to receive money on behalf of RC 2020 and deposit same <br /> into a special deposit account in the City's General Fund. The money r~ceived on <br /> behalf of RC 2020 shall be disbursed as requested by the RC 2020 Executive <br /> Director in writing, subject to City administrative procedures. <br /> <br /> C. At no time shall City be under any obligation to disburse money to RC 2020 in <br /> excess of the amount on deposit. The Committee acknowledges that money <br /> received by City will not be available for disbursement for three (3) business days <br /> after the funds have been deposited by City, or for a longer period, as deemed <br /> appropriate by City's Finance Director. <br /> <br /> <br />
