<br />DCB:sh 6/28/85 <br /> <br />JUL 1 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9927 <br /> <br />0"', <br />'HiGiNAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR LOT 1 - SANDPIPER SUBDIVISION <br />UNIT NO. 1 AND AN OPTION AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />PROPERTY TO CONSTRUCT A FIRE STATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has required as two of the conditions for <br /> <br />Tentative Map approval of Redwood Shores Area E Subdivision that <br /> <br />Lot 1 of the Sandpiper Subdivision Unit No. 1 be landscaped and <br /> <br />maintained and that an option be granted to the City to acquire <br /> <br />certain real property for the principal use as a fire station; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a maintenance <br /> <br />agreement with Redwood Shores Owners Association and Redwood <br /> <br />Shores, Inc. for the installation and maintenance of landscaping <br /> <br />and an option agreement to acquire certain real property for the <br /> <br />principal use as a fire station; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Those certain agreements entitled "Redwood Shores, Inc. and <br /> <br />Redwood Shores OWners Association Installation and Maintenance <br /> <br />Agreement - Landscaping Lot 1, Sandpiper Subdivision Unit No.1" <br /> <br />and "Option Agreement", which permits an option to acquire <br /> <br />certain real property to use principally as a fire station, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br /> <br />execute said agreements for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />~ 927 <br />
