<br />DES:sh <br />DES:sh <br /> <br />6/28/85 <br />7/01/85R <br /> <br />court order and the aforesaid Act of 1889 as amended, has <br /> <br />determined that the level of benefits payable under the aforesaid <br /> <br />former fund (and now payable under an account of the General <br /> <br />Fund) should be increased for persons in a pensionable status <br /> <br />thereunder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds and determines that the level <br /> <br />of benefits payable to persons in a pensionable status under the <br /> <br />former Police Pension and Relief Fund of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />should be increased to, and the same shall be, from and after <br /> <br />June 1, 1985, payable in the amount of Three Hundred and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($300.00) per month. <br /> <br />2. The Director of Finance, as City Treasurer, and the <br /> <br />Ci ty Manager are hereby authorized and directed to draw, issue <br /> <br />and sign warrants upon the Treasury of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />payable monthly from an appropriate account of the General Fund <br /> <br />as an obligation of the former Police Pension and Relief Fund in <br /> <br />the aforesaid amount to qualified person (s) in a pensionable <br /> <br />status under the said former Fund. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />9920 <br />
