<br />DCB:sh 6/18/85 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The buildings at 104 Cedar Street are determined to be <br /> <br />a public nuisance because such buildings endanger the life, <br /> <br />health, property and safety of the occupants of such buildings <br /> <br />and affect the neighborhood and persons in the surrounding <br /> <br />vicinity of such structure. <br /> <br />2. The specific findings supporting the determination that <br /> <br />such buildings are a public nuisance are as follows: <br /> <br />Health and Safety Code <br />Violations ~17920.3 <br /> <br />A Description of Violations and <br />Their Required Corrections <br /> <br />Subsection <br /> <br />Living Room <br /> <br />a13 <br /> <br />(1) Secure the loose ceiling light <br />fixture. <br /> <br />g2 <br /> <br />(2) Repair the front entrance door <br />to be properly weather <br />protected. <br /> <br />d <br /> <br />(3) Eliminate the <br />extension cords. <br /> <br />hazardous <br /> <br />d <br /> <br />(4) Repair/replace the inoperable <br />wall receptacle outlet behind <br />the sofa. <br /> <br />Dining Room <br /> <br />a6 and f <br /> <br />(1) Unvented free standing gas <br />heater required to be properly <br />vented to meet the Redwood <br />City Code requirements. <br /> <br />g2 <br /> <br />(2) Observed water stains in <br />ceiling.
