<br />DCB:sh 5/16/85 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOR; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. That this Council: <br /> <br />(a) Approves the filing of an application for an <br />appropriation from the Energy and Resources Fund <br />for the development of Parks and Recreasion <br />facilities in the City of Redwood City pursuant to <br />the Roberti Z'Berg Open-Space and Recreation <br />Program; and <br /> <br />(b) Certifies that the City of Redwood City <br />understands the general provisions to be included <br />in any agreement between the City of Redwood City <br />and the State of California for the receipt of <br />such funds by the City; and <br /> <br />(c) Certifies that the City of Redwood City has or <br />will have sufficient funds for the development of <br />Parks and Recreation facilities which are to be <br />funded pursuant to the abovementioned program; and <br /> <br />(d) Certifies that the City of Redwood City has or <br />will have available prior to the commencement of <br />any work development of Parks and Recreation <br />facilities matching money from a non-state source; <br /> <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to <br /> <br />conduct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents <br /> <br />(including <br /> <br />but <br /> <br />not <br /> <br />limited <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />applications, <br /> <br />agreements, <br /> <br />amendments, and payment requests) which may be necessary for the <br /> <br />development of Parks and Recreation facilities in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. That the City Attorney is authorized and directed to <br /> <br />sign the required certification on the application for an <br /> <br />appropriation from the Energy and Resources Fund for development <br /> <br />of Parks and Recreation facilities. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />9881 <br />
